Hi, I'm Mary Lenihan. I’m a hypegirl first and a photographer second.
My enthusiasm and outgoing attitude have always been a part of how I was made, but I distinctly remember the first time I knew I loved photography.
I was eight, returning from my first week ever at overnight summer camp with a full roll of disposable camera film, ready to be developed. My time at summer camp was so meaningful to me, and I loved that I was able to share my experience with my family through the images I brought back.
Since those early days, I've seen more and more the way good photography can bring dignity and capture joy in any season and experience.
I approach my photography and clients with a heart full of gratitude and eagerness to honor those who have entrusted me with their big moments, in both life and work.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
As far as images go, you can expect light, colorful, authentic photos, which truly reflect real life and colors accurately. As far as composition, you can expect a lot of movement, rather than posing to create more fun, joyful images.

Since 2018. And I've loved every minute of it.

My incredible husband, Ryan! While he spends less time behind the camera, he is very much so a huge part of this business! My built in second shooter, sounding board, accountant, and hype man, Lenihan Photo truly would not exist without his input and effort. Typically only my wedding clients get to meet him, and you should be envious of them because he is incredible.

What kind of photography do you offer?
I offer a wide range of photography services, including wedding photography, family photography, couples photography, newborn photography, event photography, and branding photography
How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply inquire here and expect to hear from me within 48 hours via text or email with next steps.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to selecting a location meaningful to you, and happy to provide guidance as needed.
How long should I book you for?
Great question! I'll help you determine the right length of session. Typically, I like to keep sessions involving kids as short as possible, to be able to keep their attention and make the experience enjoyable for them. For branding and newborn sessions, I always suggest a full hour. Weddings and events always require a discussion, but I'm always upfront about pricing so that my clients can prioritize appropriately.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
It's so hard to wait for a good thing! So I keep that wait as short as possible. You can expect sneak peeks within 48 hours, and your full gallery within 2 weeks.
Do you offer services beyond photography?
Yes! For branding and wedding clients I offer a variety of digital media services in addition to photo services. If you are looking for branding help or content creation for your event or wedding, let's talk.
